Registrations for academic year 2027–28 are open at NCFE’s four campuses in Karnataka: CV Raman Nagar, Indiranagar and Mandur in Bengaluru, and Ballari (Bellary). Availability is confirmed for the campus and grade you request.
If you are beginning your school search, start with three details: your child’s date of birth, the grade you are considering and the campus you can reach comfortably on a school day. These help the campus team guide your enquiry.
Download your parent preparation pack

Use the document checklist, age worksheet and campus-visit planner before your appointment. You can print the pack or fill in its fields on your device, then bring your questions and notes to the visit.
Check the grades at your preferred campus
For 2027–28, the campus grade ranges are:
CV Raman Nagar: Pre-Primary to Grade 12, CBSE-affiliated.
Indiranagar: Pre-Primary to Grade 10, CBSE-affiliated.
Mandur: Pre-Primary to Grade 10, CBSE-affiliated.
Ballari (Bellary): Pre-Primary to Grade 8, following a CBSE-pattern curriculum. This campus opened in June 2026.
For Grade 11 or 12, contact CV Raman Nagar about the confirmed streams and subject combinations. For any grade, ask the team to confirm availability before making plans around a place.
Use the 1 June age rule
NCFE counts completed age as on 1 June 2027 for the 2027–28 registration cycle:
Pre-Primary 1: 3 years.
Pre-Primary 2: 4 years.
Pre-Primary 3: 5 years.
Grade 1: 6 years.
Share the date of birth recorded on your child’s birth certificate. If you are unsure which grade to request, ask the campus team to check it with you. Our age criteria guide explains the cut-off with examples.
Follow the six registration steps

The campus visit is step 3, before the programme briefing and Principal meeting. Use this roadmap to keep track of your next appointment.
1. Enquire
Submit an enquiry or contact your chosen campus. Provide your child’s date of birth, the requested grade and your contact details. This is the first step in the process.
2. Fill in the application form
Complete the paid application form and provide the requested documents. Before you pay, the team will confirm the application-form fee, payment method and refund terms.
3. Arrange a campus visit
After completing the application form, arrange a suitable visit time with the campus team. The visit takes place before the programme briefing. Bring your questions about the school day and your child’s needs.
4. Programme briefing
The team explains the programme for your child’s stage. Ask how the programme works day to day and what you should know before deciding.
5. Meet the Principal
The campus team arranges the Principal meeting and explains what you and your child need to prepare. This meeting follows the campus visit and programme briefing.
6. Offer of admission
If a place is available in the requested grade, NCFE offers admission to your child. The team explains the fee-confirmation window and terms before you confirm the offer.
Prepare your documents

A symbolic document illustration. Check the list below with your campus for the records applicable to your child.
The registration checklist includes:
Your child’s birth certificate.
Recent passport-size photographs.
Aadhaar cards for your child and parents.
Residential address proof.
Previous report card and Transfer Certificate for Grade 1 and above.
Immunisation record for the early years.
Check with your campus about the documents applicable to your child, the required format and submission timing. If a document is still with the previous school, explain that to the team before submitting your application.
Ask practical questions early
Check transport route availability for your address, the school-day arrangements for the requested grade and any daycare requirements. CV Raman Nagar and Indiranagar have on-site daycare; their teams can confirm eligible ages, hours and availability.
For fee guidance, use the FAQ on your chosen campus’s page and ask that campus for the complete breakdown and payment terms.
Example: beginning a Grade 1 enquiry
This is an illustrative scenario, not a confirmed application or offer. A child born on 15 May 2021 will have completed six years by 1 June 2027 and meets the stated Grade 1 age requirement.
If the family is considering Indiranagar, their first enquiry could say:
We are enquiring about Grade 1 for 2027–28 at Indiranagar. Our child’s date of birth is 15 May 2021. Please confirm grade availability and guide us through the application form.
After the application form, the family arranges the campus visit, followed by the programme briefing and Principal meeting. The offer of admission depends on availability and completion of the process.
If a Transfer Certificate is still with the previous school, ask the campus when it must be submitted. Do not assume the document requirement has been waived.
Start with your chosen campus
Read the 2027–28 registrations hub, then use the process page for CV Raman Nagar, Indiranagar, Mandur or Ballari.
When you are ready, send your enquiry with your child’s date of birth, grade and preferred campus. The team can help you take the next step.
