Students from NCFE CV Raman Nagar visited the UR Rao Satellite Centre during the World Space Week celebrations. The visit gave them an opportunity to learn about ISRO’s achievements and upcoming projects, and to see facilities involved in satellite assembly.

A closer look at India’s space programme

Learning about ISRO’s work was a central part of the experience. Students explored its achievements and upcoming projects, connecting their interest in space with the work taking place at the satellite centre.

They also had the rare opportunity to see the clean room and satellite assembly facilities. Seeing these facilities offered a memorable view of the setting in which satellite work takes place.
